In light of COVID-19, Select Therapy Institute has prepared an AHA Basic Life Support distance learning course, allowing students to complete the theory portion of the class and to understand the basic concepts behind Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). To be certified, students will need to call in and schedule an in-person skills demonstration and examination to prove competency in the skills taught in our distance learning course in order to receive an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification. Both instructors and the students must follow all health safety precautions and regulations while conducting the in-person examination.

Topics include 1-person, 2-persons, and team-based CPR concepts and skills regarding adult, child, and infant rescue techniques in cardiac arrest scenarios.
